Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian music writer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by Decca Records Decca Records in May 2015 getting great reviews from music bloggers and the media. The artist has already released two top-of-the-line covers Half the World Away by Oasis. Oasis to promote a Christmas ad from John Lewis and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole. Katy Perry posted a video in which she endorsed Runaway. The endorsement earned her some recognition. Make it a special day for her. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering a piano in her attic and being fascinated by the sound it could make. Parents May-Britt along with Jan Oystein Aksnes encouraged her to pursue music not as a career or hobby but for growth. They inspired her to write. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her most favored songwriters. To counter her mother's suggestions that people shouldn't be trying at achieving fame through the songs she writes, but rather realize the importance of themselves and the impact they have on society. She started playing piano when she was just six and was writing her first song when she was nine. The family did not have any idea about it until she was fourteen. The dream was never to turn into Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of composing music. She says that music is her most preferred way to feel anything.
